A day in the life of a Splend driver – Meet Graham, #TheBestUberEver
It brings us great pleasure to introduce Graham, one of our loyal customers who not only do we adore but so do the 43,000+ riders that he’s driven over the past four years. Graham started his on-demand driving career because of an accident, which cut his nursing career short. Not one to hide away from a bold move, he saw this as an opportunity to reinvent and rebrand himself and decided to become an Uber driver.
Along came #TheBestUberEver
Describing ridesharing as “having no personality or pizzazz”, Graham took it into his own hands to redefine how you’d expect your ride. His recipe is simple: put the passenger first.
Splend gives me the flexibility to be my own person. I do what I call an L.A. style of ridesharing, and they support me in doing it.
Graham upgraded from a Kia Sportage on Flexi subscription to putting his weekly payments towards owning a Mitsubishi Outlander on our Flexi own plan. This means he can now accommodate 7 riders, so he can earn over 30% more. He can also provide a better experience, since he can, as he puts it, “keep groups of people together, which is awesome.” The Flexi own plan is also a great way to own a car in four years or less. Graham describes his relationship with his Customer Specialist, as well as the rest of the Splend team as one of the key factors on why he chose us. In his words:
personal, one-to-one, friendly, inviting, just awesome people who would always help if I had any issues – there’s no problem that can’t be solved.
