  • Used Vehicle Guarantee: Our Approved Used vehicles meet strict criteria, including:

    • Age under 3 years with mileage less than 89,000 miles

    • Eligibility for clean air fund pay-out (where applicable)

    • Full inspection by qualified technicians

    • Supplied with full-service history, MOT, and VHC (Vehicle Health Check)

    • Supplied with a PCO license

    • 6-week/5,000-mile promise to fix parts, including brakes and tires

    • HPI/Finance clearance

  • Peace of Mind After Purchase: Splend will prioritize your peace of mind with the following benefits:

    • Replacement PCO vehicle during service or warranty repairs

    • Provision of a courtesy car for warranty issues with parts on back order

    • Option for an extended warranty, transferrable to future owners

  • Using Clean Air Plan: Customers can utilize their Clean Air Plan funds toward the upfront purchase of an approved Used EV from Splend of £5,000 and above. The process includes:

    • Contacting Splend to explore vehicle options

    • Providing recent monthly EV Assistance amount received from Uber

    • Confirmation of EV Assistance amount by Splend

    • Direct transfer of EV Assistance funds from Uber to Splend upon vehicle order

    • Collection of the EV from Splend premises upon successful finance application

  • 3-Month Breakdown Cover RAC: If the vehicle breaks down within the UK: 

    • RAC will send help to repair the vehicle. This could be a permanent or temporary repair. If RAC needs parts to be able to do this, they will fit parts up to the value of £300 at the roadside, or 

    • If RAC are unable to repair the vehicle at the roadside, we will recover the vehicle and passengers to: 

      • A safe location for an RAC Mobile Mechanic to attend, or 

      • An RAC approved garage, or  

      • Another local garage, or 

      • A destination of your choice anywhere in the UK 

    • For long distances, RAC may need to transfer your vehicle to different recovery vehicles 

    • If RAC takes the vehicle to a garage, they will reimburse the cost of a taxi for you and your passengers 

    • Passengers must all travel to a single destination within 20 miles of the breakdown

    • RAC will provide a report, by email, which details what they think is wrong with the vehicle and what needs to be repaired or replaced  

  • Breakdown Extras: Battery Replacement, if RAC attend a breakdown caused by starter battery fault and they can’t recharge it, they will: 

    • Supply and fit a new battery

    • Dispose of the replaced battery
